Wild Roots & Remedies Week invites campers to explore the healing power of plants through hands-on, nature-based learning. Children will forage and garden, learn how herbs have been used for generations, and create simple herbal projects like teas, salves, sugar scrubs, dried herb bundles, and calming sachets. This week blends curiosity, creativity, and outdoor exploration—helping kids connect deeply with the natural world around them.
Farm Animal Week invites campers to slow down and learn through life with animals. Children will care for and observe our farm animals, help with daily chores like feeding and collecting eggs, and learn about animal behavior, habitats, and needs. Campers will create animal-inspired crafts such as hand-painted animal signs, clay or nature animal figures, and feed-scoop art projects. Survival Camp focuses on real-world outdoor skills that build confidence and problem-solving. Campers will learn basic navigation using a compass, practice fire-building safety and technique, explore how to find and clean water, and work together through survival challenges and team tasks. This week is hands-on, empowering, and rooted in learning how to stay safe, aware, and capable in the outdoors.
Creative Hands Camp is a week dedicated to learning through making. Campers will explore four different hands-on crafts throughout the week, including painting, simple woodworking or nature-based building, basic sewing or hand stitching, and a mixed-media project using natural and reclaimed materials. This week encourages creativity, patience, and confidence as children learn practical skills and take pride in creating something with their own hands—barefoot, messy, and inspired.

American Heritage & Freedom Week brings American history to life with hands-on learning and Fourth of July fun. Campers will explore early American traditions, symbols, and stories through crafts, games, and outdoor activities, then celebrate Independence Day with red, white, and blue projects, classic summer games, and festive fun. This week is all about learning, celebrating, and making memories—Barefoot Barn style.
Primitive Skills Camp takes campers back to the basics of early human life. Children will learn traditional skills such as shelter building, cordage making, simple weaving, natural tools, primitive crafting, and creating with materials found on the land. Campers will explore how people lived, built, and worked together long before modern tools—developing creativity, patience, problem-solving, and a deeper connection to nature along the way.
Gardening Week invites campers to dig in and learn through growing. Children will plant, water, harvest, and care for the garden while learning where food comes from and how plants grow. Campers will create garden-based projects like seed starters, painted plant markers, and simple harvest crafts while spending their days outdoors. This week encourages patience, responsibility, and a love for the land—muddy hands, sunny days, and growing confidence.
Water Week is all about summer fun and staying cool—Barefoot Barn style. Campers will splash, pour, build, and explore through water-based games, sensory play, and outdoor challenges. From water experiments to free play and group activities, this week is packed with laughter, movement, and sunshine—ending summer with wet feet, happy kids, and unforgettable memories.
Science Week turns curiosity into hands-on discovery and wow moments. Campers will explore science through exciting experiments with water, heat, and air (gas), along with nature investigations and building challenges. From watching water move and change, to experimenting with heat reactions and air pressure, kids will test ideas, make predictions, and see science come to life.
